As far as we know, the production of high-quality clothing for men and women has been documented in our family since 1887 by my great-great-grandfather. In the 1970s, it was my parents who traded in high-quality women's and men's fashion and also produced it. In Marburg (Hesse, Germany, where I was born) and later in the 1980s, the look was a mix of country house style and Bavarian tradition, made-to-measure only with leather. High-quality leather jackets and coats, leather trousers, leather dirndls. After school, I successfully completed a tailoring apprenticeship. I grew up in the world of fashion: fabrics, leather, cuts, and fashion fairs - from Munich, Cologne to Düsseldorf - were part of my childhood and youth. By the way, as a child, I also got to know the beautiful island of Elba. However, after my training as a women's tailor, there was a break. I no longer worked in web design but in "web design" (a German play on words, because "weaving" calls us "weben" in German) and programmed and designed quite a few websites. A lot of monitor. Too much monitor. And yes, I also "crafted" this website myself. And partly because websites are just too much monitor, I have now returned to the world of fashion and tailoring. Your personal garment will be handcrafted in our studio. Together we choose the fabric, select the design, and implement all your wishes. If you enjoy the profession yourself and would like to attend a course, then take advantage of our tailoring course offerings.
